Every opening is measured, boarded, and photographed. Boards carry Coast Construction signage, phone number, and license number — which adjusters expect to see on billing documentation.

Coast Construction is on the Contra Costa County and Vallejo fire department board-up call lists. When a fire scene is cleared and the department needs a licensed contractor to secure the property, we are among the contractors they contact. This is not the same as being dispatched to every fire — it means we have an established relationship with departments in our primary service area.
If the damage may require reconstruction
Board-up is often the first step in a larger process. If the property has sustained fire, water, or structural damage that may require a reconstruction contractor, we can discuss that when we're on site — or any time afterward. There is no pressure and no obligation. Many customers simply need the building secured and nothing more. That is a complete job.

Board-up emergency response covers the full greater San Francisco Bay Area. Unlike reconstruction work — which is concentrated in the East Bay — board-up response follows a different logic: if we can get there within a reasonable time, we go.
The truck is based in San Leandro (94577). From there, most San Francisco Bay Area locations are reachable in under an hour outside of heavy traffic. We have responded to board-up calls throughout Alameda, Contra Costa, San Mateo, Marin, Solano, Santa Clara, and San Francisco counties.
